Chessa Cottage is a two bedroomed cottage with ensuite bathrooms in each room. The cottage boasts an open plan living, kitchen, dining area with a veranda overlooking the Zambezi River. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove with an oven, fridge and freezer.

Chessa Cottage is booked exclusively and as such the entire area is reserved for your exclusive use. It is perfect for a couple’s trip, small family getaway, or a small group fishing trip on the Zambezi River.
SELF CATERING
The accommodation offered is self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware. You are able to bring your preferred food and drinks and are guaranteed to be able to request to have your eggs the way you like them each morning of your stay. There is also a supermarket in Chirundu in case you run out of anything.
FISHING AND SAFARI ACTIVITIES
Our team are able to facilitate boat and equipment hire if you would like to try catch a Tiger Fish or, are able to assist with booking a River Safari with providers in the area. Some of the wildlife you can expect to see are hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of birds. Guests looking to have night out, drinks at a bar or a restaurant meal can do so at our neighbouring lodges that offer these services and are always pleased to welcome our guests.

The property is 250 metres downstream from the confluence of the Zambezi and Kafue Rivers providing a wide expanse of water and an unspoilt natural environment for the wildlife.
